I was born in Cookeville, TN but am fortunate enough to have grown up all around the world as a Navy brat. Throughout these unbelievable experiences there was always one constant: theatre. I remember falling in love with the art while sneaking around the props/costume closet at the military sponsored community theatre in an old airplane hangar. More a band geek than a drama one in high school, I eventually I got my undergraduate theatre degree from Weber State University in Ogden, UT. I joined the military myself in September of 2000, enlisting in the Army and serving a 3-year tour in Friedberg, Germany on the same post that Elvis was stationed back in the day. 15 of these months were spent in Baghdad, Iraq serving as a communications specialist with the First Armored Division. After separating from the service in 2004, I stayed in Germany for another year continuing my love for traveling and life. Eventually I had to come back, but was lucky enough to be able to put my technical talents to use when I landed a role as a friendly neighborhood cable guy in Savannah, GA for a year before joining the UGA Graduate Ensemble.
